Best Practices

Now streaming: How to Asana

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then how many words is a video worth? When it comes to learning something new, watching one quick video can be as valuable as reading ten how-to articles. That’s why we’re excited to announce our new video tutorial series, How to Asana.

How to Asana won’t replace the treasure trove of resources on the Guide, but we’re hoping these short, informative, and (dare we say) fun video tutorials can be another useful learning tool for you. Check out the intro video first:

A different way to learn

Different people have different learning styles, and we’ve gotten feedback from customers that while the articles on the Guide are helpful, they would benefit from seeing the steps in action. And in fact, studies have shown that incorporating more visuals into educational materials can help learners better comprehend and remember the subject matter.

Each How to Asana tutorial video is about one to two minutes long—just enough to help you get up and running with a certain feature or way of using Asana. And they’re hosted by me, Nikki, a real, live Asana employee. In every episode, I’ll provide some simple tips to help you and your team get more out of Asana.

How to Asana videos are great for:

  • People who are just getting started with Asana and want to learn the basics.
  • Anyone who wants more insight on Asana best practices, or to learn more about specific features.
  • Someone who wants to see Asana features in action to determine if Asana is the right fit for their team.
  • Asana champions looking for resources to share with their teammates to help them learn how to use Asana.

Our goal is to release a new How to Asana tutorial video roughly every week so you can always look forward to learning something new. To stay up to date on all our videos, you can subscribe to the Asana channel, and follow along with our How to Asana playlist.
